20190312 PPC Meeting (Program)

This coming Tuesday March 12 will be our monthly club meeting. The meeting will be held at New Philadelphia Movarian Church , 4440 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 and starts at 7:00pm. We have a great program this month. 
 
Come and learn how to improve your photography from club member Jeff Silkstone as he presents Simple Steps for Improving Your Photography. For those that may not know Jeff, here is some background information.
 
Jeff Silkstone started his photography journey as a hobby over 12 years ago.  As his passion for photography grew he looked for ways to gain more experience while teaching others the lessons he had learned. Five years ago he landed his dream job as a photography workshop instructor leading and co-leading workshops throughout the United States and abroad. At the same time, he started his own business, J. Silkstone Photography, with a focus on landscape photography. Since then he has become Adobe Lightroom certified and has used that knowledge to provide private instruction as well as teach courses at learning institutions. This summer he relocated with his family to Chapel Hill, NC where he plans to keep pursuing his dream.
Simple Steps for Improving Your Photography are the lessons, tips, tricks and experiences that Jeff credits in helping him transform from being an amateur photographer to where he is today.  The steps follow his “Explore | Compose | Capture | Publish” total workflow for help in all aspects of landscape photography as well as other genre.
